Test Results: After a ten-week test phase, 95% of our testers have reported that the noise reduction was very effective. Irritations caused by prolonged wearing were not noticed. How Many dB Do the Earplugs Dampen? According to the manufacturer, the earplugs have a SNR of 24 dB and provide a constant sound reduction at high (H), medium (M) and low (L) frequencies: H=24 dB, M=21 dB, L=19 dB. The attenuation value was tested according to ISO standard 4869-2 by an independent German testing institute.
